Homemade Cranberry Sauce
I thought I hated cranberry sauce until I ate this!! Now it's a favorite must-have at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and pretty much any time of year!
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 orange, chopped with no seeds (I usually only use half the peel, cutting it into very small pieces.)
1 cinnamon stick
1 bag of cranberries
Cook all ingredients together on stove for about 10-15 minutes, until most berries pop. (Still while cooking.)
Can be served warm or made ahead of time and served chilled.
Great with turkey or pork!
