Jonas' "Mars" Balls



yields: 20 BALLS

Ingredients:
 1 1/2 cups old-fashioned oats
1/2 cup flax seed meal or chia seed meal (healthier)
1/2 cup df chocolate chips (preferably mini), or raisins
1 cup creamy peanut butter or almond butter
1/4 cup honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
 Directions:
1. Add oats, flax seed meal, and mini chocolate chips to a large bowl. Stir together! (I like to toast the oats a teensy bit, to make them easier to digest, and thus a little more nutritional.)
2. Add peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir. And stir. And stir!
3. The mixture will be very thick. Shape the mixture into tablespoon-sized balls.  We like them best when they set-up in the fridge for an hour or so.
Store balls in the refrigerator until ready to eat.
